Been a while..

Posting up an update as I've neglected this log worse than I've neglected painting. Here's a picture of Skulltaker on foot. Next to finish his chariot.

Been busy with other stuff

Unfortunately, I haven't had time to assemble paint anything for the Daemons in a while. However, I have collected together approx. 1600 pts and if I can track down some defiler legs I'll be at 1750. Going to start assembling in earnest here soon. My plan is to go unit by unit, assemble, then paint, then move to the next unit. Probably going to start off with the Fiends, as I have 1 assembled and 3 to go. Then I'll move to the nurglings as they should be relatively simple and will give some troops to the assembled painted batch, albeit non-scoring ones. After that, my goal is to get a Herald completed so that a basic field-able army is ready to go.

Chief Librarian Tigurius nears completion, just need a few touch ups and highlights to finish him.

New additions

Added some Flamers of Tzeentch to the roster of things ready to be painted, sorry, no picture yet. Will hopefully get some pictures of completed models up within the next week or so.

My Ultramarines distraction

Unfortunately, I need to get my Ultramarines playable to clear the way to start painting up the Daemon army. Right now, I'm working on Tigurius. Here's his banner, now completed.

Starting a Project Log for Daemons Army

So, this is the beginning of my Daemons Army project log. This is an army I'm putting together for my best friend as a Birthday/Homecoming gift while he's away in Europe. My plan is to have about 1250-1500 collected, assembled and painted by the time he's home in August. So far, I have a Fiend of Slaanesh assembled, but not painted and a bunch of Nurglings unassembled.
